The hostel's classic decor and wooden floors gave a cozy and elegant ambiance, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The accessibility to public transportation was excellent, making it easy for us senior folks to explore the city without any hassle.

I would've appreciated a bit more assistance from the children working there for senior-friendly travel arrangements.

The room at Hostal Central Palace Madrid was just so cozy and charming with its wooden floors and classic decor. I loved that some rooms even offered views of the Royal Palace - it felt like something out of a fairytale! As someone who enjoys a touch of luxury but still craves that homely feel, this room ticked all the boxes for me.

Not a big fan of the stairs to access the room, but I understand some might enjoy that unique touch.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, with fine views of the Palace right from my room. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing me with great tips and recommendations for my visit to this city. It was great to be so close to the Opera Metro station, easy for me to explore this city at my leisure.

The staff, especially Alina, was very welcoming and spoke perfect English. The location was perfect for exploring, with the Metro station just a 2-minute walk away. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a luxurious and antique-style decor. We loved the complimentary mini bottle of Cava upon arrival. The shower had good water pressure. We also appreciated being able to leave our luggage at reception after check-out. The hotel had an amazing view of the Royal Palace from our room's roof terrace.

Staying in an elegant boutique hotel just opposite a grand palace is an experience in itself. This hotel is located in the heart of the city, so it's easy to get anywhere you want in Madrid by foot. You can enjoy a variety of restaurants in the nearby neighborhoods. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and well-furnished. You get complimentary wine when you arrive and on the last night of your stay. You'll also appreciate the helpful service provided by the staff.

For us it was ideal.

This hotel offers incredible value for money. The rooms are spacious with stunning views over the royal palace, and the private terrace is a nice touch. The antique-like furnishings add a touch of elegance. Plus, the breakfast with views of the palace is absolutely delightful.

During our Christmas stay, we loved the amazing location of the hotel, with a fine view of a famous palace. The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly, making our stay more fun. We were actually surprised to find a small bottle of cava waiting for us upon arrival, and a lovely half bottle of red wine on our last night. The room was modern, stylish, and very comfortable, with all amenities provided for a cozy and enjoyable stay. We were also delighted to have a cute balcony where we could enjoy the view.

The only downside we experienced was the occasional noise we could hear through the windows. given that it is a historic building, this was something we expected and it did not significantly affect our overall experience.
